What to do?! Seems to be the biggest question everyone asks during the holidays. We all know the stress and commotion organization can bring. Hectic schedules come about, long distance family members come over, screaming kids are running around, food isn’t ready yet, but no one has any idea how to entertain themselves at this moment. Why not have a fun activity set up for the company coming over. It would relieve a lot of stress and settle all the commotion going on around the house. Holiday celebrations don’t have to be as complicated as you think.
Have an activity outside to keep everyone active that everyone of all ages can take part in or simple as have a karaoke event for entertainment, pull out all your board games, even start up a few card games. Take the children to the park, let the older kids take part in a group video game, while the adults get the table and food set up for the gathering. Everyone can take a small part in any activity going on to keep them entertained as long as you give them the opportunity to do so.
As for sports and rec. we would like to send out a few invitations to our guest coming over to inform them that we will be having a few activities to participate in before or after our holiday gathering. The invitations will also include what to bring for the gift exchange that will be occuring. We have several board games to partake in such as mad gab, charades, holiday trivia, and the game created at home "Guess what’s in the box". The gift exchange was a chosen idea to make sure everyone has a fair and equal holiday.
