Here it comes! The feel of holiday blues. We all know that depression state
everyone slips in during the holidays. The buying of gifts, the travel, the
cooking, the shortage of money to do all of these things, no sleep, overworked,
no time, cant find the gifts your looking for, the long lines of waiting,
the noisy stores filled with people, busy highways, etc. This can all lead
up to deprission. The anxiety tends to overcome most during the holidays to stress
building up, the more stress you have the more likely you will become depressed. The holiday is made to be joyous, its a time of giving and recieving, spending time with family, enjoying a good holiday meal, christams caroling and so on. You cant let the resaon of bringing all of this about take away the joy.Taking a break from all the comotion and giving yourself time to breathe can be a great way to overcome all the stress that builds up. Finding different ways to start the holiday off can also help. organizing your plans a little better, when going to the store know exactly what you are going for, avoid being lost and stuck on what to pick up,and also avoid waiting to get gifts on the busiest days. Being on time could make a big difference and planning ahead.
Another great tip to beat depression and stress would be to not drink as much as you would. We all know the celebrationof holidays can bring a time to toast jus t don’t let the toast become one too many. You might not get to spend the holiday as planned if you end up with a DWI. You would most likely end up spending the holiday in jail. Planning inexpensive events will save money in this time of giving or receiving. Instead of trying to buy everyone a gift can get hectic, which leads to debt and the confusion of choice. Do a secret Santa that way you only have to get one gift and everyone else can participate in this choice as well, set a certain amount that can be spent on the gift, determine the gift by sex or making it no gender.Make sure you plan reasonable. Don’t limit what anyone attending can participate in or the events scheduled or taken
place. Limiting access can cause differences during the interactions. When cooking make sure you assign a part to everyone that way no one ends up taking that role by their self. Everyone can bring a dish, condiment, dessert, game, or etc.  That would save time and stress and lead to a better organized cheaper gathering. Know where you or the guests coming are going to stay. Make sure there is room for everyone, it’s tidy and welcoming. Know the locations of all the events, the time they are taking place, don’t forget to bring what you were assigned to bring, participate in what’s taken place, don’t get caught in a moment of depression to where you don’t want to have fun, and have a good time no matter what. That is what the
holiday is for. Remember holidays only come around once a year so make the best of it at all times. Making successful moves leads to a successful holiday celebration. What you put in is what you get out. Gatherings are made to be fun and enjoy, keep it that way.

   Winston Churchill
"Working hours are never long enough. Each day is a holiday, and ordinary holidays are grudged as enforced interruptions in an absorbing vocation."
